It's a very quick posting and a very quick make

Have had a couple of weeks away from blogging .... have been working on & with new goodies for different DT's and there's been much inkyness going on in the crafty coven i've been having a ball .... but I did make a promise that I would blog before 7am today ...... so here we go .....

I've mixed and matched a couple of stamp sets on this frame from two of my favourite designers .... the lovely Sam Poole and the lovely Glenda Waterworth ..... am hoping you all think they work together as well as I do !!

I'VE HAD A FACELIFT !!!!!!!!

now I'm not blogging anything in particular in this post apart from me Thank You and just to say that Ive been plotting a new venture (with a few fellow nutcases) which will all be revealed very soon ...... yes it does come in the form of a brand new Blog .... but it's also coming with a brand new Facebook Group ......... so if im quiet (well, ok .... trying to be quiet, which really won't last) .... then it's just because i'm busy phaffing & fiddling with ........ these lovely goodies

Victorian Beach Huts

There's a new showcase today over at Christine's Digi Adventure and I must say Chris's DT have really come up with some stunning makes !!!

When I saw this digi image from Chris I just knew I had to turn it into a Vintage Postcard .... so I hope you like it !!

It really was so simple to turn this fantastic digi into this picture postcard ..... just some Distress Inks, some stamps, some paints for the little doors and then some Distress Crackle Paint over the top of all of it  ..... I loved doing this was just fun !!

Friday Phaffings !!

I really have just been phaffing .... mucking about with new goodies (had me nose pressed up the window for 4days waiting for the postie) that arrived ..... now I dont care what anyone says I love ATC's ...... n they're just fab for having a wee bit of an experiment with products ...... I also have a new fetish ! ....... drumroll for ....................... Sticky Back Canvas !!!  how did i live without it !!!

Pretty Things With Wings

I really was just sat phaffing when I started this piece of work at 5am this morning and I'm really not a pink kinda girly at all but I had some pink Angelina fibres looking at me plus Sam Poole's new stamp 'Bubble Wrap' was shouting 'use me, use me' .....  so I did .... along with some of Sam's other new stamps that she's just brought out .... which you can find here @ www.creativestudios.co.uk/     In fact all of the stamps on here you find over in Sam's shop.

I found this old paper in my stash that when you stamp on it, use Picket Fence over the top, stamp a bit more, Picket Fence it again it ends up looking like a canvas ..... well I think it does !

I love boxes... I love lace ... I love scraps of Vintage papers (and these came all the way from Canada off the very lovely Carrie Corbin) .... I love making flowers .... and I love stamping and Distress Inks ...... worked out my recipe now ! :o))   ...hope you like it !

oh and I meant to say this wee box only measures 2.5inches x 3.5inches :o)) xx

DT post for Crafty Bloggers Network - Challenge #23

It's June already ! ... it's time for a new challenge over @ Crafty Bloggers Network and this fortnight's theme is .............         '3D PAPER FOLDING'.

Now I cant really say that Paper Folding grips me in an way to be honest but if you're a DT member then you have a bash at anything ..... well you do if you've remembered to do the challenge .... which I hadn't ....until the very last minute (it's been a bad week lol) ....... so as a last minute make I came up with a 3D paper folded Pomander !!

I used scraps of card to make 20 different sized hearts ..... added some colour to them with Worn Lipstick Distress Ink, stamped a script stamp over all of them, added the ribbon for hanging it, ribbon to decorate it and diamante bead chain ......... fastest make ever .... hope you like it !

Fun card for a fun weekend !!

I've used a freebie backing paper, red/white/blue cardstock..... the flag stamp is from IndigoBlu which has then been overstamped with a brand new stamp called Bubble Wrap from the lovely Sam Poole, ive also added one of the Sam's Artful Ladies stamps and one of her sentiments from the Art Sayings stamp set...... lots of Jubilee ribbons and tied them with Baker's Twine.
